I served the beef stew as a main dish, along with stir fried spinach last night. Today for lunch the left over stew came in handy as a noodle dish, not quite as good as the one my parents make, but hits the spot anyway!
- Stew Beef cubes
- 3 table spoon Soy Sauce
- 4 slices Ginger
- 4 cloves Garlic, chopped
- 1/2 tablespoon of garlic chili sauce
- 1 Can of Chicken Broth
- 1 Can of diced tomato
- Hon Dashi
- 1/2 spoon sugar
- Onion
Heat up some oil in a big pot and brown the meat. After the meat has browned, add the onions, garlic, and ginger in the pot with the meat, stir for 2-3 minutes. Add in can of tomatoes, then chicken broth. Put in garlic chili sauce, soy sauce, hon dashi and sugar. Bring to boil then turn down heat, simmer for about 2 hours. Prepare noodles as directed, serve cooked beef stew on top of noodles, Ready to eat!
